As I grab my pen and paper
I slowly begin to write again
This is my sanctuary
Where I will not be judged for my sins
My pen digs deep
As my emotions are so raw
I want to express how I feel
But I don’t want to reveal them to none
My true friends are my pen and paper
They have always been there for me
Through good times and bad times
They never tried to leave
